mrt specializes in tenant improvement and has completed many projects for multiple clients over the years. Often, we are asked to re-brand or re-invent an identity for a space or building. Project Management & Construction
mrt offers comprehensive construction administration services for projects we have designed as well as projects designed by others. Our team provides full-time on-site project management and construction administration services, working seamlessly with owners and contractors under all procurement methods, including CMAR, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, and JOC.
Existing Facilities Assessment & Feasibility
mrt specializes in building maintenance, renovation, and rehabilitation projects. We focus on the rehabilitation of critical building systems, including electrical infrastructure, air handler units, cooling towers, and chilled/hot water piping, resulting in measurable savings for our clients. We maintain an updated database of our clients’ facilities to address current issues and plan for long-term maintenance.
Programming & Master Planning
mrt begins the first phase of the project gathering all user programmatic information. We meet with all stakeholders in a collaborative setting to determine their current and future needs. By facilitating a programming charrette we are able to identify “facts, goals, and concepts” to document the desired program of spaces and design components.
Outdoor Thermal Comfort Design
mrt has experts on staff who specialize in outdoor human thermal comfort, streetscape, and public spaces design. Our goal is to create outdoor pedestrian-oriented spaces with integrated design that incorporates architectural and landscape shading and appropriate material selection for ground and wall surfaces.
