Omar holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and a Master of Science in Architecture Design and Energy Conservation from the University of Arizona. As the Design Principal of mrt, he integrates cutting-edge technologies into the design and construction process, enhancing precision, creativity, and speed. By utilizing drones for site analysis and documentation, virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) for immersive design visualization, and digital fabrication techniques such as 3D printing and laser cutting, he ensures that every project benefits from the latest advancements in architectural practice. His approach blends craftsmanship with computational design, allowing for innovative solutions tailored to each project's unique needs.

Beyond his professional practice, Omar serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Master of Science in Architecture-Design and Energy Conservation program at the University of Arizona.
